About Local NewsHabit
Local NewsHabit is the county desk. It is meant to be a short, truth-first brief for one county at a time, in the same spirit as NewsHabit.
Carroll County, Georgia
Carroll County, Georgia stays on the desk until you save a different place. The header stays on that county. The domain is localnewshabit.com.
Local Politics is the Carroll County desk
Local Politics is the Carroll County, Georgia desk only. It is the place for city council, the county commission, and state policy that directly affects Carroll County. It is not a national politics category. The Local Politics page groups leaders in city, county, and state tables, and those tables are empty. Election dates and referendums on that page are empty.
Cities stay under the county
City news is a filter under the county, not its own product. Carrollton, Villa Rica, Bowdon, Temple, Mount Zion, and Whitesburg are views of Carroll County. A city item would carry the city name. The place that is saved is always the state and the county together. Many counties share a name, so the county alone is not enough.
What sticks
The state and county you save are what stick.
